About the Opportunity:

The Institutional Business Development Team is a cross functional group that bridges the gap and creates synergies between clients and internal operational teams. If you are a self-starter and team player who can generate leads and manage institutional clients across all segments in the European region, then Okcoin is the place for you. In addition to managing and growing client relationships, you will work cross-functionally with Sales, product, trading operations, and marketing to resolve any client issues that arise. The team’s core duties will encompass: lead generation, account management and solutioning, external crypto event planning, client pre/post sales support and vendor partnerships. Our growing institutional client segments and products can be found at

What We Look For In You:

  • 4+ years of institutional account management/sales experience, with 2+ years in traditional financial markets or cryptocurrency industry 
  • Creative in generating new client leads across different client segments (buy-side, financial intermediaries, payment providers, liquidity providers, trading firms, & retail brokers)
  • Ability to seamlessly work cross-functionally, beyond the immediate job description 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to interact effectively with all levels throughout the organization
  • Strong powerpoint and excel skills for creating client marketing materials and client activity metrics reports 
  • Passion for cryptocurrency ecosystem and market development
  • Team player and ability to work independently
  • Ability to build strong relationships with finance & non-finance colleagues at all levels across local and international locations
  • Capable of managing and prioritizing multiple requests and strong analytical and problem-solving skills to provide creative solutions to real-time challenges
  • Bonus, but not required: Ability to speak/write in multiple European languages (English, Spanish, French, Dutch, or German)

Nice to Haves (Preferred Qualifications): 

  • Creative in generating new client leads across different client segments (buy-side, financial intermediaries, payment providers, liquidity providers, trading firms, & retail brokers)
  • Advanced software skills in Google Suite and CRMs like Hubspot
  • Highly organised and detail oriented
  • Ability to distill complex topics into easily understood concepts
  • Ability to gather product requirements from clients and communicate them to product
  • Thrives in a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment
  • Proactive enthusiasm for solving problems and adding value to the company
  • Willing to travel for industry events
  • Previous experience in traditional financial services or cryptocurrency exchange/broker or other blockchain company
