BlockFi is looking for a Growth Product Manager to join our Growth Technology team!

About the Team

Our Growth Technology team works cross functionally with Product Marketing, Design, & Analytics to create the easiest user experience for investors to buy, sell, and earn cryptocurrency.  Our team grows BlockFi’s audience by obsessively analyzing acquisition, engagement and retention data and along with qualitative feedback to ensure we continuously prioritize the voice of the customer and deliver the right value proposition. Your Mission

As a Growth Product Manager, you'll build foundational capabilities and infrastructure to unlock growth across all products and segments. This role will be a part of the Growth Technology team. The Growth Technology team is committed to building foundational internal tools and systems which empower BlockFi to acquire and engage clients in a scalable and efficient manner. You’ll have a high degree of ownership as you’ll work cross-functionally with growth, product, and engineering teams to understand the problem space, define projects, and help design and launch new products. 

You’ll own the strategy, roadmap, and execution of key growth product initiatives focused on, but not limited to scaling our A/B testing infrastructure, tools for conversion optimization and our product engagement suite. 


  • Understand and strategize for the unique problems and needs of growing BlockFi’s growth and marketing systems at scale
  • Own a set of products & integrations from problem space to launch
  • Define goals for marketing KPIs. Identify the necessary tooling and complete integrations to achieve those goals
  • Define epic and user story requirements and acceptance criteria for both technical and non-technical requirements
  • Evaluate and recommend third party tools. Make buy versus build decisions.
  • Oversee the capture and flow of data to empower growth/marketing teams with visibility and tooling
  • Partner with internal and external teams to improve our products
  • Collaborate with engineers, data scientists, data analysts, marketing and other cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for growth
  • Build, test, and ship product experiments
  • Draw inferences from data and create strategies
  • Measure impact of your work, monitor and report
  • Manage cross-team dependencies
  • Build instrumentation, monitoring and evaluation capabilities to create better products
  • Communicate to team, stakeholders, clients, and vendors effectively 
  • Recognize and communicate risks/concerns 
  • Partner up with Engineering Managers to lead multiple engineering teams. Experience working with external dev agencies is a plus. 
  • Create and document processes to increase team productivity

Your Expertise:

  • 3+ years of product management experience working with growth or marketing teams
  • A good understanding of growth loops and various marketing automation domains including email, push, paid growth etc
  • Experience building internal tools or internal solutions for your company's teams
  • Experience working with CDPs (Segment), CMS (Contentful), A/B testing (LaunchDarkly), Mobile Attribution (Branch), product analytics (Amplitude) and CRM (Braze). (Our stack in parentheses)
  • Comfort with generating ideas, researching potential product extensions, or experimenting with new ideas
  • Curiosity and passion to constantly learn new things; BlockFi changes fast, and we need the people who work here to be able to change and learn fast too
  • Strong self-motivation skills and the confidence to make decisions in ambiguous and ever-shifting situations
  • Experience building marketing tech products a plus
  • Knowledge of crypto is not a requirement, but the desire to learn about it is
