What is Polygon?
Polygon is the leading platform for Ethereum scaling and infrastructure development. Its growing suite of products offers developers easy access to all major scaling and infrastructure solutions: L2 solutions (ZK Rollups and Optimistic Rollups), sidechains, hybrid solutions, stand-alone and enterprise chains, data availability solutions, and more. Polygon’s scaling solutions have seen widespread adoption with 3000+ applications hosted, 1B+ total transactions processed, ~100M+ unique user addresses, and $5B+ in assets secured.


  • Responsible for smart contracts development, security/audit, deployments, upgrades, and management
  • Working with security team for audits of new contracts and changes
  • Manage governance-related efforts including smart contracts developments, governance app, and operations
  • Work with the governance team to implement new proposals. Communicate with the community on related changes and rollout plans
  • Making security a top priority and carefully analyzing code changes for potential vulnerabilities
  • Work with existing teams to further optimize, and debug Smart Contracts
  • Work with blockchain node team to co-ordinate releases and changes
  • Work with researchers to find optimal solutions to challenging problems


  • Experience in managing team
  • Understands EVM architecture, memory, and stack
  • Experience deploying/managing smart contracts on Ethereum/EVM chains
  • Tenacity to debug the challenging issues for long periods of time. (Trying to make this not sound terrible)
  • Passionate about digging into people's code
  • Basic knowledge of solidity security testing tools (eg: Truffle, Slither, Echidna, Mithril, etc…)
  • Nice to have experience in Governance/DAO
  • An active member of the dev community will be a plus (e.g. experience contributing to EIPs)
  • Comfortable working in an Agile environment
  • Demonstrated contributions to open source code bases a plus
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills; working proficiency in English (written and spoken) to work with the team
  • Self-motivating, able to assume responsibility and work autonomously in a professional manner
  • Willingness to learn new languages, frameworks, and technologies
