We have an exciting opportunity for a talented Investor Relations Analyst to join our team. The Investor Relations Analyst will become part of GDA Capital sales business in order to help build out our investor base to share exciting deals with. This will involve meticulous outreach, and showing an ability to prospect and speak professionally with high level investors and executives. Advanced proficiency in customer relationship management systems (Hubspot) and programming in addition to a passion for capital markets, investing and building relationships is highly preferred.

Responsibilities & Expectations:

Ideally based in the heart of Toronto and reporting to capital markets business unit. You will have direct contact with all 30+ employees at the firm, and have the opportunity to take ownership, develop and innovate many of the business processes within GDA, whilst under the guidance of an extremely experienced and well rounded team. 

Investor Relations Analyst:

• Direct outreach out to investors and investor groups to create new business relationships
• Analyzing geographical and industry landscapes 
• Putting together key documents to represent existing deals into datarooms
• Present deals to existing and potential investor base
• Track progress and KPIs and look to optimize activities
• Create partnerships with associations and other groups that can help our clients and investors
• Miscellaneous tasks as they come up.

Required Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree, with emphasis in finance, computer science or mathematics

• 2+ terms of work experience as an analyst in a top financial institution
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, VBA, programming is a plus
• Knowledge and experience in the blockchain, crypto assets and traditional financial markets 
• Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information and issues with tact and diplomacy.
• Exceptional management & data reporting skills
• Detail oriented with the ability to check documents for accuracy and communicate detailed changes, given regulatory nature of our industry
• Skilled in learning on the job and being a self starter
• Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Mature, professional, driven, empathetic.
