What You Will Be Doing

• Team - recruit and retain the top talent to be able to deliver on the above
• Relationships - you will be managing the existing commercial relationships with our payment partners and be on the constant lookout for new vendors to create new business and optimise the existing value chain
• Bank Transfers, Acquiring, Issuing and Alternative payment methods - you will manage, optimise and expand all the portfolio of payment methods on Nexo
• Legal and compliance - you will need to constantly optimise and further build on top of our regulatory and compliance framework to be able to accept and issue payment instruments together with our Legal and Compliance teams

What We Look For:

• Develop - experience hiring, retaining, growing, coaching, and mentoring team members
• Experience - at least 5 years running a successful global pay-in/pay-out business with customers in more than 150 countries with billions of dollars in processing volume
• Domain expertise - deep knowledge of card acquiring(US, Europe, Asia), issuing(US, Europe, Asia), local bank transfers, alternative payment methods, and supporting functions as regulations, compliance, manual and automated processes, and risk.
• Customer-first mindset - understanding how a great payment UX should look like and constantly working to provide a fast, easy, and cost-effective payment solution
• Data - ability to analyse data and drive metrics optimisation for key operational and performance metrics such as cost/interchange, loss rates, auth rates, FX, etc
• Relationships - proven contacts with the main payment players in the industry
