About the Team: 

What the Listings team does is core to our functionality as an exchange.

The team is responsible for maintaining a funnel, deciding what tokens are listed on the exchange, and working with partners to support the token listing process. It is a cross-functional team working across the entire company, from BD, product and legal to marketing, brand and finance. 

The team is responsible for monitoring the crypto ecosystem, initiating and maintaining strong relationships with token teams, assessing listings opportunities, and working with its cross-functional partners to support the listing process. The team is also responsible for a majority of the token team-facing communication post assessment, including negotiating contracts and promos.

As part of the Listings team, this role will be critical in helping grow our customer base and strengthening our relationships with the broader crypto ecosystem. The team is a key partner to senior leadership at Okcoin executing on high-impact projects.

About the Opportunity:

We live and breathe crypto and so should you. A successful candidate is passionate about crypto and about bringing greater financial sovereignty to retail users. You’ll be analytical about evaluating new assets and constantly keep a pulse on emerging and upcoming assets in order to quickly add high-quality assets to the trading portfolio. You’ll support and help own the listing process from end to end, beginning with sourcing and ending with launching and marketing. 

At your core, you thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative, process-driven environment and be able to adapt and adjust plans on-the-fly. You also have strong prioritization skills and a willingness to roll up one's sleeves to get the job done. You’ll be comfortable communicating with senior stakeholders, making recommendations on strategic decisions regarding the asset portfolio. Most importantly, you’ll drive results and significantly grow the Okcoin trader user base.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Work cross-functionally to execute the token listing strategy from sourcing, listing, and account/relationship management
• Evaluate different tokens using a metric-driven approach
• Working with marketing team to help drive brand and growth initiatives
• Build consensus with senior leadership to drive token listing 
• Proactively engage token projects and their communities as an ambassador for Okcoin products and services
• Assess for product partnership opportunities

What We Look For In You:

• BA/ BS degree or equivalent practical experience from a top institution 
• 3+ years of experience in management consulting, banking, operating startups, private equity, hedge funds, corporate strategy, business development etc 
• Demonstrated passion for crypto
• Demonstrated understanding of the crypto markets, themes, blockchain consensus, and the blockchain technology
• Outstanding problem solving skills and executive-level communication skills 
• Ability to create structure in ambiguity
• Comfort working in high growth, fast paced environments  
• Desire to be a strong team player operating in a “we” culture, vs. an “I” culture 

Nice to Haves:

• Experience working with teams across offices and timezones
• Additional experience working at a high growth startup or a crypto-specific company
