About:

Madali Ventures Inc.is a fast growing startup in the cryptocurrency payments sector, led by former executives and founders in the Canadian Bitcoin brokerage/exchange and payments space.

Our primary products include a remittance application utilizing Bitcoin’s Lightning Network, as well as a b2b2c service that helps facilitate businesses payouts and disbursements in various cryptocurrencies.

As a technical lead CTO, you will be working closely with the VP of Product, CEO, the growing development team of 5, as well as various other executives to design, deliver and iterate on our current and future suite of applications.

You will have the opportunity to come aboard this project at a relatively early stage where you will be joining a highly motivated team with diverse skill sets, in a flexible but fast-moving environment. 

We’re looking for someone passionate about building products in the Bitcoin/Cryptocurrency ecosystem as it starts to accelerate towards mass adoption.

While the company is based in Canada, our team members span various provinces and even continents; this job is remote and open to international applicants.

Compensation for this full time position comes with a competitive salary in addition to stock options.

PHP, Laravel, Javascript, node.js, React.js, Next.js, mysql, Mongodb, Digital Ocean, AWS, Heroku, Vercel, Postman, LND, Bitcoin Core, Voltage Cloud

Responsibilities:

Helping to develop technical aspects of the overall corporate strategy and ensure its alignment with business goals, including making decisions on future technology stacks, tools and processes

Supervising development of all applications, including reviewing pull requests, testing, deployment and operations

Writing and reviewing code for critical components, including unit, integration and functional tests

Integrating various external API’s into our system in a highly secure and optimized manner

Establishing best practices and methods; as well as coaching and mentoring other developers

Ensuring performance of the team is maintained at a high level; including through management via agile methodology such as Scrum or Kanban

Overseeing the entire pipeline of development and deployment including CI/CD

Establishing and monitoring KPI’s for the team and technology to asses performances

Keeping up to date on technological trends and being able to recommend and implement best practices and technology changes that align with company goals and yield competitive advantages

Conducting technological analyses and research when necessary

Developing, assessing and monitoring business security needs both with the internal team and external auditors
