Internal Salesperson

SkyBridge Capital is a global alternative investment firm specializing in crypto and digital asset solutions to address the needs of a wide range of market participants ranging from individual accredited investors to large institutions. The firm’s sphere of crypto products includes the Skybridge Coin Fund, an actively managed fund that invests in the leading tokens across the digital currency platform, a crypto focused ETF and Unit Investment Trusts (UITs), and opportunities in the venture / private market spaces where we have raised $350 million in individual companies such as FTX, Genesis Digital Assets, Lightning Labs, Moonpay, TaxBit, NYDIG and Kraken. The firm is looking to expand its crypto offerings and to build out its Sales/Marketing team with junior hires in New York City. 

Responsibilities

The new hire will be responsible for covering an external salesperson in a specific region in support of sales efforts across the firm’s entire product suite. The internal salesperson will interface with clients and prospect (Financial Advisors, RIAs, HNW/UHNW Investors) for both the broker-dealer/bank platforms as well as for institutional relationships. The role does not require any immediate travel, but the expectation would be for the individual to evolve into an external sales role in the future.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of an undergraduate degree with a strong record of academic achievement. Relevant financial services experience (buy-side and/or sales experience) is a plus, but not required
• Strong intellectual ability and interpersonal skills
• Excellent communication and relationship management skills
• Ability to proactively prospect and develop new client relationships
• Ability to learn and convey sophisticated financial and product specific concepts
• Ability to obtain FINRA Series 7 and 63 certifications shortly after starting

The position is based in the firm’s headquarters in New York City. Compensation is competitive with base salary plus discretionary bonus.
