Social Media Director

Are you a social media expert with passion for cryptocurrency, blockchain, and all things web3? This role oversees and leads all of our social channels and works directly and collaboratively with a variety of people across both the LunarCrush and Lunr brands. Beyond being a creative mind that can oversee a small team, success in this role will be determined by a high level of autonomy, self-direction, and project ownership.

We are looking for someone who can be both a strategic thinker and a boots on the ground executor. This dynamic role requires strong creative and conceptual thinking as well as high-quality execution of ideas and initiatives. Collaboration is very important, this individual will work closely with senior leadership and many members of the creative and production teams.

Responsibilities:

• Execute and optimize our social media strategy across multiple social channels
• Lead social media team to ensure quality and relevance of content
• Determine new social media channel opportunities and test for effectiveness
• Oversee social research, planning, calendaring, creative development, publishing, moderation, and reporting
• Understand historical narratives in the crypto space and observe current industry events
• Monitor crypto and NFT trends to identify engagement opportunities
• Curate, write, schedule, and interact with social media posts
• Interface with and support, Growth, Product, Brand, and Comms teams
• Maintain social media tracking, data presentation, and perform optimizations
• Follow and contribute to brand and content guidelines

Experience & Skills:

• Knowledge and understanding of cryptocurrency, blockchain and web3
• 4-6 years of hands-on social media marketing and community management experience
• An inspiring leader, able to help lead by example and grow the team
• Ability to deliver on strategic marketing initiatives while championing brand voice, tone, and direction
• Expert at best practices for the top social media platforms
• Analytical thinker with experience driving multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to drive experimentation focused on engagement
