What You’ll Do:

  • Prepare and review the investor allocations, capital statements, waterfall calculations,
  • Management fee calculations, performance presentations as a part of the quarterly financial statement process
  • Prepare shadow quarterly package (trial balance, balance sheet, P&L; and bank reconciliations)
  • Manage fund administrators
  • Monitor cash daily and perform monthly bank reconciliations
  • Preparation of capital calls and distribution notices, processing wires to LP’s &; GP’s.
  • Assist with valuation of all portfolio investments on a quarterly basis
  • Coordinate wires for purchases/sale of investments.
  • Quarterly preparation and billing of management fees and expenses
  • Assist with annual audits
  • Tracking of expenses (Funds, active/dead deals, portfolio companies etc.)
  • Tracking vendor invoices
  • Manage the post-term sheet deal closing process, managing the process and working with legal to finalize and close investment processes
  • LP Relations and Reporting
    • Front line responder to LP requests
    • Assist with tracking investment performance (“IRRs”) for fund and net to LPs
    • Facilitate LP communications during Fundraising processes

What We’re Looking For:

  • 3-5+ years of experience
  • The team is lean, requiring associates to be extremely proactive within the firm. Hustle and grit are a must.
  • Public accounting experience required, and venture capital/private equity is a plus
  • Exceptional analytical and computer skills
  • High-quality business writing skills
  • Ability to thrive on a lean team and in an entrepreneurial environment
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and work ethic
  • Excellent excel skills
  • Team player
