Who You Are:

You are a resourceful and proactive Property/Officer Manager, who is seeking a unique opportunity to support and spearhead the opening of our new Bahamas-based office. You are well-organized and adaptable, have excellent time management skills, and act with good judgement with minimal guidance. You believe in the future of blockchain technology and get excited about a new economic paradigm.

What You’ll Do:

  • Oversee the daily operations of our new property including interactions with the leasing company / landlord, utilities, local agencies, and contractors
  • Assist the office head with local matters involving the acquisition of additional commercial or residential real estate for the company or its staff either directly or via engagement with local real estate agents
  • Manage the approved operating budget for the property and office, ensuring the payment of rent, utilities, and all required vendors
  • Escalate and resolve matters arising from the day-to-day operation of the property and office to the needed functional areas, whether external suppliers or internal responsible departments
  • Provide oversight for the administrative staff working in the office and manage office supply inventory
  • Help hire and onboard 20 people in the 6-12 months
  • Ensure the space is managed in accordance with the Company’s security policy and escalate matters to the Chief Security Office as needed
  • Ensure the facility is well-maintained and functioning to the highest standards at all times by arranging and managing service contracts with needed suppliers
  • Assist in supporting tactical and strategic initiatives
  • Manage portfolio of external vendors and procurements; calling vendors as needed and keeping track of vendor contracts
  • Process expense reports
  • Screen and direct phone calls

What We’re Looking For:

  • 3+ years of office/property management experience
  • 5+ years of administrative experience
  • Experience managing a team of at least 2 people
  • Startup mentality, go-getter with an entrepreneurial spirit
  • Adaptability and flexibility
  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the Bahamas

Bonus Points:

  • Experience opening up a new office or new offices, especially in the Bahamas/Caribbean
  • Familiarity with Bahamian culture
  • Familiarity with Cryptocurrency
