About the Role:

Hut 8 is looking for a Cloud Solution Architect to join our growing team! The ideal candidate is personable, technical, and passionate about Digital Assets and Web3. Our goal is to provide the Digital Asset and Web3 industry an alternative to the large cloud and datacenter providers (https://hut8mining.com/products/).

Responsibilities:

• Supporting and working in tandem with the sales team, facilitate technical discussions with prospects, customers, partners, and Hut 8 employees as needed through all phases of engagements.
• Provide expertise around IaaS (public/private cloud, storage, compute), colocation, Nvidia GPU’s, network, blockchains and enterprise technology.
• Provide deep technical expertise and leadership across a range of technologies. You will be the go-to person for architecting customer solutions, resolving complex issues, and guiding best practices during engagements.
• Proactively identify additional sales opportunities through the duration of the project.
• Provide customer and market feedback to help define product direction.

Requirements:

• In-depth knowledge of IaaS (public & private cloud), colocation, GPU’s, network and blockchains.
• In-depth knowledge of cloud applications & software such as VMware, OpenStack, Kubernetes, Veeam and Zerto.
• 5+ years of cloud solution architect or technical sales experience.
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.
• Passion for Digital Assets, crypto and Web3.
